Is this World Serious?

With Donald J. Trump's rise to power in the United States, many certainties are being challenged in all areas of social, economic, and political life, not only in the U.S. but also, and especially, around the world.
With the stated goal of refocusing on "the interests of the United States" and, most importantly, those of the American people, the Trump administration is significantly changing the landscape across all areas of American society. We are all witnessing a clear desire to deeply reform (or bring back) America to its core beliefs and values.
The first waves of this "strike" began with the executive orders issued by the occupant of the White House as soon as he took office, in addition to his choice of cabinet members.
One could debate all these things, but I would like to refocus my point on the consequences of his rise to power and the decisions that followed.
For me, instead of getting upset about the grumbling caused by the local and international measures of his government program, it’s time for us Africans to follow the example of this leader and refocus on our values, our resources, and our potential; on a more "holistic" approach to managing our countries.
The Americans voted, in an unprecedented landslide, for their president, and they expect him to deliver the program he promised them! And that’s exactly what he’s starting to do.
The approach may seem "rough" to French speakers like us, but the substance remains in line with the aspirations of the majority of the American people: refocusing the country, among other things, on moral values, optimizing expenditures, prioritizing national interests, and the well-being of its people.
Isn’t it time for us to actively rethink our political, social, and economic practices?
Many theories and virtuous speeches have already been presented by our intellectual experts from all sides, with, sadly, this single observation: what we lack to this day is Execution, and Trump is a master at it!
Let’s take a leaf out of his book, in our families, our circles of life and society, our businesses, no matter what leadership position we hold, instead of sinking into the demonization of the man, the Americans, or seeking refuge in the ease and comfort of hypocritical humanism!
Here in Madagascar, we would say… Alefa!
